Big room with comfy bed, but the wedding party made it noisy at night.

This place suits me perfectly with great wi-fi, cozy bar, and 24-hour reception. The staff helped me with my bags during my first stay, and I remember their kindness. I highly recommend it for a romantic escape.

i had a wonderful stay at lismoyne. my room was in the newer extension and it was super comfortable, with a nice double aspect and very quiet. the breakfast offered plenty of choices, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. it's also just a short walk to other events happening around town, making it a great location!

well-maintained grounds, reasonable room pricing, spacious lounge area
Disappointing bathroom layout affects comfort!!! Tight space with poor extraction and cheap toiletries diminish quality!!! Dining rules restrict where to eat. Long walk through stale corridors detracts from overall experience!!!

Waking up in the peaceful garden was a delightful way to start each day, accompanied by a well-prepared breakfast that offered a variety of choices. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room had everything needed for a relaxing stay. the Wi-Fi connection was disappointingly weak, which was a minor inconvenience. this was a charming retreat that I would definitely revisit.

Improve shower temperature consistency for comfort.

The garden area outside provides a peaceful retreat, making it an ideal spot for a quiet drink. the breakfast offerings include a solid variety of well-prepared hot options, adding a nice touch to the morning routine.
Disappointingly, the bathroom in Room 6 felt cramped, with no bath option and limited space in front of the lavatory, making it inconvenient. The beds in the Standard Double Room are two singles joined with a metal bar, which creates an uncomfortable gap when it unscrews. A few amenities appear outdated, like the lack of a smart TV and insufficient coffee options in the room—a letdown for those used to better experiences. The keycard system also requires multiple attempts to unlock, raising minor concerns about security and ease of access.

Spacious room with a comfortable king-sized bed made settling in easy after a long day. Proximity to the town center offers a good range of dining options within walking distance.
The bathroom setup is awkward, with a tight squeeze that's problematic, especially when trying to navigate around the sink and toilet. Internet connection struggles tremendously, making it a hassle for anyone needing to work or stay connected. Some amenities, like toiletries, felt lacking for two people, which in my view could have been better provided given the price point for the room. the hotel feels a bit tired and could use a refresh to keep up with more modern expectations.

Great breakfast and friendly vibes
We stayed for 2 nights and the staff were super nice! The breakfast was top-notch with loads of options. But the walls were kinda thin, so we heard wedding party noise. The room was chilly at first, but the heater worked fine after a bit. I liked the lovely garden area for relaxing.

Lovely room, comfortable stay with a large standing fan that kept me cool during the hot weather, and the 24-hour reception staff were incredibly helpful when I needed first aid for a minor injury.

I had a delightful stay at Lismoyne. My room in the newer extension was super comfortable with a nice double aspect and quite peaceful. The breakfast served plenty of delicious options, and the staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist. The location is great, just a short walk to local events. I did notice a few things that need attention. The shower temperature fluctuated occasionally, which could be uncomfortable. while I loved the character of the main house, some areas seemed to lack maintenance, and the carpets looked tired. These minor issues didn't overshadow my overall enjoyment, but a little attention to detail could really elevate the experience.

Had a chance to unwind in a jacuzzi which was pure bliss and the staff really made sure we felt looked after. Breakfast outside in the garden was peaceful, like a breath of fresh air.
It wasn’t exactly low-cost but worth what we paid.
